This is a full cover illustration for my favourite Jamaican folktale, the story of the Golden Table and its guardian, the river mumma. Many of our folktales are passed down through oral tradition, but I learned about them via a high school research assignment. Since then, I have wanted to create a children's book illustration to provide another medium for young readers to learn the story.
